Hey friends! If you're reading this, you probably know who I am because I probably told you to come and proof-read my first blog post, or you're one of my loyal followers who takes time out of their week to comment on my posts. Well, welcome! This is going to be my cozy unfiltered cozy corner of the internet, where I plan on sharing everything from content creation tips, to my life with my cozy dog & cat crew, and all the chaos and fun in between.

Why I started This Blog
So why did I start a blog? I told myself that this was going to be the year I got more out of my comfort zone, trying new things, and taking more time to help others. I feel like although I haven't perfected my skills on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, etc., I wanted to be able to dip my toes into a variety of different things to see what truly sticks.
Other parts of social media have become so media-based—video, photos, etc. I wanted a place to come to where I can yap into the abyss (or maybe an audience, we'll see how things go) and write out my thoughts, instead of always having to articulate them into a different medium. So here I am, as a content creator / influencer blog...ger?
This is a blog for you to learn tips and tricks on social media, reviews, and whatever other word vomit I throw out here.
What You Can Expect
Here’s a little taste of what’s coming your way:
Content Creation & Photography: Behind the scenes of my photoshoots (everyone always asks me HOW I keep my dog and cat so still, so, you'll find out!), tips and tricks for beginners, how I became a full time content creator, and much more...I just haven't gone full throttle into the topics I'll be covering. Oops.
Life with Pets: This category is going to all about pets. From my attempts at baking treats, to why I believe the saying should be "Adopt or Shop—Responsibly" to how I taught my dog to talk with his FluentPet buttons.
Product Recommendations: Whether it’s photography gear or cozy pet accessories, I’ll be sharing my favourite finds—the stuff that’s actually worth putting your dollar bills behind.
I’m all about keeping it reel, so you can expect a mix of personal stories, practical tips, and maybe even a few funny bloopers from my photoshoots with my pets (because let’s be honest, they don’t always cooperate).
A Little Bit About Me
If you’re new here and have no idea who I am or how you came across this blog, WELCOME, I’m Carly. I’ve built a community of over 150,000 amazing followers across social media who love our funny and relatable content.
If I’m not staring at my computer screen, phone, or camera, you can probably find me hiking with my dog, Widget, or being suffocated by my cat, Olive—because surprise! I'm allergic to cats. Who would have thought someone who claims to be a cat content creator is actually allergic to cats? (If any brand wants to sponsor me for an air purifier, hit me up.)
Photography has always been my thing. I got my first DSLR (a Nikon D3000) at the age of 13! I wasn’t even in high school yet and I was part of the dog community long before Instagram was ever popular. (Does anyone remember Dogster forums?)
I love camping, crystals, traveling to new places, and just staying at home to host a party with friends. Nice to meet you. If you have a cat, tell them I say 'pspspspsps'

Soo....What's Next?
I’m going to be honest with you...I don’t know, but I’m glad you’re here and along for the ride!
Here’s some exciting topic ideas I have in mind:

What a Day in the Life of a Content Creator REALLY Looks Like
My Favourite Photography Gear for Content Creators
If you’re a pet lover, aspiring content creator, or just here for the vibes, I’m so glad you’re here to hang out. Feel free to leave a comment or connect with me on social media because I’d love to hear from you!
Thanks for stopping by, and I can’t wait to share more with you soon! Peace out.
